Trying my best to keep up with all of these interesting threads!

ANT211: Fundamentals of Forensic Anthropology with Dr. Albert, Spring 2002 back POSTMORTEM CHANGES AND TIME SINCE DEATH an online lecture.

Stewart (1979) says a body can become fully skeletonized in as little as 2 weeks, in Florida in the summertime, a body can become fully skeletonized in around 10 days!

I realize this was a relatively dry February for San Diego, California - but Danielle was supposebly left out at Dehesa for 4 WEEKS!!! and she is mummified? You would think with all the insect, critter activity there would be no tissue left. Can't wait to hear the entomologist/forensic/postmortem defense presentation on this topic.
