I suspect but cannot prove that DW might have had a latent desire from his youth, to hang with the "cool kids", and that resulted in his "Descent Into The Maelstrom" of slutbars. The problem is, there is no "sluttopia" - only diseased bodies and diseased minds. IOW, be true to yourself, if you were "chosen last" - or not chosen at all - by the likes of BvD, know that that's a good thing, not a bad thing. In fact, the interview that Fres posted near the beginning of this thread is very instructive. The dictatorial father, the snarky mother. David won't even answer her letters sent to his jail. It's proof of nothing ... but just a piece of a puzzle.
