If you recall, don't ask me why I do, the original departure time was 4:00AM. With in 3 weeks the whole time line shifted.... Yes - I do see - and honestly think they did split up later after doing some kind of drugs together - now did Barb ruin the whole story by tellin the truth? If she did tell the real story regarding that - then the cops confronted the rest of them with this - why didn't they fess up - they had to know it made them look really bad - and the cops were probably saying stuff like -"You know that really doesn't matter to us at this point - you are not going to get in trouble for that - we just want to find Danielle and you need to tell us everything." I don't think Barb did say that - or the VD's might have admitted it like they did with the bed incident. I think Barb told more than she should have - but not all - the rest just have to admit to what she did tell - but they are all still hiding a bunch.

Hypothetically of course - Say that the pizza party group was all back at the house doing some sort of heavy drugs almost all night - lets say they were so heavily under the influence of something that they were acting really crazy and that somehow during the time that all of them were there Danielle got killed to all thier knowledge (I have no idea how, but just for the sake of my hypothetical - let's say she comes out of her room to see what's going on and someone picks her up to hold her and toss her up in the air to play with her and they toss her over the upper railing to the floor below - breaking her neck and killing her instantly) They all panic - what to do - they are all heavily under the influence of something - they can't call the cops.
My hypothetical ends here - but I'm just wondering what you all might think about what kind of drug could account for a scenario like this?
Pot - no.
Coke or Meth - no - you'd just be hyper - but you wouldn't stand out too much - people do these drugs all the time and function fairly normally. IMO they could still call the cops if on either of these drugs.
LSD - possibly - you may not be able to diguise that fact too well - I will relate a story I know of. A friend of mine was at a party when he was younger where people were drinking , smoking pot and tripping on acid - the person who had the party's father had some liquid mercury (like in a thermometer) and the kid went and got it - some of them were playing with it and one girl actually drank some of it. My friend said he was really freaking out cuz he knew it was poisonous - he was trying to say that they should do something - take her to the emercency room or call 911 or something - but they all just laughed and kept on partying - It forced my friend to have sort of a bad trip after that cuz he couldn't stop dwelling on it. No one did anything though - the girl didn't drop dead or anything right then (maybe heavy metal poisoning doesn't work like that) - but what if she had? In thier state of mind - would the party goers just have dumped out on the side of the road somewhere instead of calling the cops? Probably.
Extacy - don't know much about it.
Heroin - don't know.
Others - can anybody contribute anything here?

Why did Damon call Denise to tell her that Danielle was missing and the police wanted to talk to her, this was in the afternoon of 2/2...why was DVD the one to contact Denise and not police?

I did read it last night. Very sad and disturbing I thought. Sounds like quite a dysfunctional family. The part about the gay brother caught my attention. It is within the realm of possibility that he was molested as I understand many people who 'become' gay were molested as children. I couldn't say for sure without more information. If he was molested, then it is certainly possible that DW was also. Victims of child abuse who do not deal with these issues are very likely to become abusers as adults. All pedophiles have been abused as children, however all victims do not grow up to be abusers. Victims will either identify with the victim's feelings or the abuser's feelings and that dictates their future behavior. That's another reason why early intervention is so important.

If there was no sexual abuse in the family, I'd strongly doubt DW is a pedophile. Plus, 'womanizers' don't like kids, they usually only go for adult women.

What else could one of them done to her if they were on acid? So far the only drugs mentioned or rumored are pot, viagra and cocaine. Somebody had commented on what if Danielle got ahold of some of the drugs or someone offered them to her. Rohipnol (sp) or X, or a drug that lasts only a short time. She could have easily overdosed to the point of being in a coma or brain damaged. Then she was hidden. Depending on if she lingered even 24 hours the drugs would have been out of her system and the damage done. Just a theory.

Stewart (1979) says a body can become fully skeletonized in as little as 2 weeks, in Florida in the summertime, a body can become fully skeletonized in around 10 days!

I realize this was a relatively dry February for San Diego, California - but Danielle was supposebly left out at Dehesa for 4 WEEKS!!! and she is mummified? You would think with all the insect, critter activity there would be no tissue left. Can't wait to hear the entomologist/forensic/postmortem defense presentation on this topic.

The ME said no broken bones or visable sign of injury so a fall is probably not likely.

Drug ingestion causing overdose is plausable to me....would drugs have shown up in the toxicology after 4 weeks and in the condition of her body and lack of internal organs?

I think Denise will be recalled by Feldman....at the time of her testimony, defense had not been provided her 1st interview statement done on 2/2 at 5pm by Grbac...and her testimony at trial differed from some of the subsequent police statements.
