To: Palmetto
My sentiments exactly. She looks like an early "Barbie Doll" image reject.
To: SlightOfTongue
Although she sure looks foxy as a young cheerleader. Is that really her? Wow!

You are not alone in the ability to judge the various and distinct qualities of the fairer sex. Just because KC is a limp-minded liberal doesn't mean she isn't attractive. (BTW - you are exactly correct in your assessment that she would be idolized on this site were she a conservative.)
To: kjam22
Just wondering why would her looking like a "tramp" as you said have anything to do with the substance of her debate?
To: Elkiejg
Exhaustively researched, meticulously documented and bitingly written, ''Slander'' is destined to take its rightful place among the great handbooks of conservative political strategy. Expect a firestorm of protest from the left. Like a tumor in the path of a laser, they have been ''Coulterized.''Ann writes what I like to read and tells me what I like to hear. This doesn't change the fact that she fudged on some of her quotes. Sloppy work.

The Amazon.Com site for SLANDER has four or five one-star reviews in a row. I don't think I've ever seen that before. (No other reviews.) If you've read the book, you need to log into Amazon.com and give Slander a great review.

I don't view her as a true conservative. I view her as a person who has figured out how to get her 15 minutes of fame. And don't let the fact her 15 minutes started years ago dissuade you. Nor should you consider that among her tactics of garnering cheap fame is to write best-sellers espousing conservative politics. No, that's not relevant either. Her skirts are short, dammit.

I read it in one sitting yesterday....after having to go a treasure hunt to find it inside Borders Bookstore (it was NOT displayed out in the open). At the Borders on Union Square in San Francisco, for whatever reason, Slander was not in the easily accessible "New Hardcover" section -- all the copies in the store were on the shelf behind the information desk.
It is the same area where they kept Dr. Laura's last book, which nonetheless made it to the NYT list. She's not on TV, but she hasn't missed a stride in radio or in print.

Ann Coulter is not the person I want speaking for me. I don't view her as a true conservative. I view her as a person who has figured out how to get her 15 minutes of fame. That being by wearing short dresses that attract the white male, and then saying the things that he wants to hear. So, who do you want speaking for you? I am guessing that person is pretty much well-known in conservative circles and anonymous everywhere else. Does that person have a ghost of a chance of thwarting the media kabul the way Ann has?
To: Fixit
I prefer to think of her as level-headed. ;-)
I'd go with that. Level headed it is.
