"Why do you think you will not win this??"
If the VA is already going to make vets pay more money for VA services in 2003 why would they care what happens to me.
No lawyer would take my case for a fee (imposed by Congress) of one dollar.
I have no political clout and I'm not a fat cat rich person that can donate money to DC.
I'll just be another bothersome Viet Nam vet that they wish would just shut up and go away.
They will just let the eye clinic, then some collection agency, make life miserable for me.
Well as I said before they just messed with the wrong vet.
They can mess with me BUT it will be harder for them to mess with other vets when I get done with them.
I'm sure my name is red flagged in the VA for the "problems" I caused them
with the expose of the VA hospital in Long Beach in the late 70's

I don't get it. I hope this is not because you have been "flagged" or something. We have simply not had the kind of problems you are describing here. Is it Oregon? I can't even tell you how happy my husband has been with the care he has received in the past year he has gone to the VA (because out normal doctors are so damned pathetic now!). He never has to wait for appointments. He is treated very well. They have been extremely responsive and thorough. And when my brother went to the regular hospital for treatment they paid for it. He has, like I have said before, had three private jets in the past 18 months, and they have flown him home on commercial planes twice when he was ready to come home. You are talking about an eye infection....I am talking about major heart surgery done by the same doctor who treated Arnold Schwartzeneger. Why the difference in treatment? Surely someone has been dropping the ball somewhere, Tonk! Surely there is something that can be done reasonably on some level to get them to respond.
