Called and bumped!

Senator Edwards' Greensboro office says that at 4:27 yesterday he sent an email to all of his offices stating that "We are one nation under God" and "the decision is wrong." I told the gentleman on the phone that I had expected to see Sen. Edwards out in front of the cameras last night stating his stance on an issue so important to his constituents. He sounded shocked himself that he hadn't appeared, but assured me that Sen. Edwards would "probably be making an appearance."

It took him 2 hours after the opinion was made public to issue the release. I'd say the man is definitely eyeing 2004.
