Here is an interesting thought. In the last election the Mexican vote was something around 3-5% of the total I believe mostly in states like California and Texas, neither of which will be up for grabs in the next election. How about instead of throwing away amnesty on some delusional ethnic pandering scheme in the process alienating staunch conservatives what about appealing to working class socially conservative voters in battleground states. That is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
