Are you sure this was not the US Congress voting to make socialism permanent?

I can hardly wait for Arafart to convene his puppet parliament and answer President Bush's demand for his departure by having it declare his rule to be "irrevocable." Dictators like him and Fidel think they live forever and are indispensable. There you have Fidel's answer loud and clear to Bush's demand Cuba open up to democracy and free markets. We've already heard Palestine's.

How about "Irrevocable Swan Song of Socialism"?

Deputies grew emotional and almost giddy during the tally, eventually applauding loudly after each vote. When the final vote had been declared unanimous, the deputies first stood stoically at attention for the Cuban national anthem, then held hands and swayed back in forth as they sang the socialist anthem "Internationale."Are you sure this wasn't the 2000 Democratic National Convention?

"The best political system is of just one party," Vice President Carlos Lage, a top leader in both the government and the Communist Party, declared earlier Wednesday. "True democracy is socialist. And the only way to defend human rights is in a society of equality and social justice."Yep, it definitely sounds like the Democrats.

Yeah, they can worship sin all they want, it only will bring them to slavery and misery.

Castro could be a generic Islamist. He is as open minded as they are.

Obviously, all the intelligent Cubans now reside in the USA.
Name one 20th century dictator who is regarded favorably in history.
An entire nation which is ruled by a mentally unstable, paranoid and megalomaniacal individual will suffer as the leader's fears and twisted view of reality is visited upon his people.
Dictators have the habit of making war against their own people.

Name one 20th century dictator who is regarded favorably in history. Queen Elizabeth, some Scandinavian monarchs, King Hussein, Yul Brenner in "The King and I". ;^)

Not hard to figure, every voter is backed by a gun, in the back.
