Bush Criticizes 9th Circuit Court Decision
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 6/26/02 | Pyro7480

Posted on 06/26/2002 1:57:40 PM PDT by Pyro7480

I just heard on Sean Hannity's show that Bush has criticized the decision earlier this afternoon by the 9th Circuit Court in San Francisco that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional, due to the phrase "under God."

When has atheism ever declared a "holy war" on you?

I do not believe in any god.

I am not trying to kill you.

Do you really believe you are serving Bush well by bashing people who voted for him in 2000?

#1, I don't beleive that many on here who flagellate themselves over the "daily betrayals" voted for him. That's my opinion and I am entitled to it. Criticism should sharpen him. It's better than accolades many times.

Maybe constructive criticism, but not the daily dose of knee jerk ill-informed criticism from many people who seem to get some sort of pervertred joy of posting "NWO, Bildaberger, Jorge" as every other word.

There is a difference.

I agree with you but you also should allow people some room to vent. I put my heart and soul into supporting Bush, but not for him, for the conservative cause. He broke my heart with the CFR signing. I'll still support him when I have to and certainly I'll support him against liberals, but he will never have my full trust again. I'm still in it for the conservative cause. So is Sabertooth.

You've violated the FR posting guidelines, and I hope he doesn't hit the abuse button, as I won't. I'd like this little spew of yours to remain on display.

Oh really? You have me on your "ping" list in which I never asked to be on for every Hispanic bashing thread you find.

Just following your lead Sabertooth.

BTW, I just ignore them, but I follow your tactics and all the sudden you are going to press the abuse button. Can someone say hypocrisy.

but he will never have my full trust again

JMO, but if you are looking for "full trust" in politics then you are bound to be diappointed. I am happy with 80% trust.

BTW, on CFR this is my theory for what it is worth.

Bush signed CFR to take a club away from the demorats, mccain, and the press. Yes the ad bans are vile, but I beleive that the ad bans will be overturned because of a recent SCOTUS decision in which SCOTUS overturned an Ohio town's ban on door to door solicitation which is hardly different from a politcal ad being on TV.

Sheesh if SCOTUS says that banning door to door solicitation is unconstitutional, I think that they would really look stupid if they upheld the ban on TV political ads when the person can just turn the TV off, which is a lot easier than not answering the doorbell.

I hope you're right about the SCOTUS. I cannot imagine it will go otherwise, but they are a funny bunch.

I haven't been following this thread, but I would say that now that the Democrats in the Senate have moved so swiftly to establish their "bona fides" in the political spectrum and come out so strongly against the actions of the judges in this decision, the Republicans should hold their feet to the fire and "smoke them out" by moving in the congress for impeachment of these judges and then watch the true sentiments of the Democrats surface as they begin their dance.
