bump to spread the word.

"Thanks - I wasn't aware of this new ruling until now.......I am actually shocked by this......"No problem, sweetie. I don't think it actually sunk in until the cable news networks started explaining what this actually meant.
And it ain't gonna fly. Tom Daschle is almost jumping up and down to get this vote through and send these two idiotic judges in CA a message.
WE AIN'T BUYING IT.
However, I would like to see 100 votes all the same. Not 95-5, or anything like that. ALL 100 BETTER BE THE SAME.
It's time we started taking back America.

Hell did not freeze over. But they are surely NOT going to let the president have this issue alone.
This is going to KILL them, you know?

Also, the Democrats are scared to death that this will be an issue for the GOP -- i.e., their holding up nominees.
Answer me this: these people have NO control over the courts, do they? This is wasted talk, IMO. Face time.

Well, apparantly they are voting on S. Res. 292, The Pledge of Allegiance. I think that they are trying to pass an emergency Constitutional Amendment. No "NAY'S" yet from one Senator.
I think the judges in CA have awoken a sleeping giant, and we let the Congress know we would have no part of it.
You have to admit, Howlin...this is a very fast process they are going on. I've never seen them move this fast on anything, LOL!

Well, I know that we can be cynical at times (and this is one of those times) but what I saw up there on Capitol Hill just simply amazed me. In one swift smack of the hand, they knocked those two idiotic liberal, left leaning, sicko judges right back into their chairs. I wonder how the father of the little girl who said that the word "God" hurt her is feeling right now? A little foolish perhaps? Idiot.

Do you see what it says under the picture? This resolution allows the Senate attorney to act on the Senate's behalf during the court appeals!
Daschle thinks he is running this country. Or at least wants to be co-leader.

Heck, no. He was on Fox this afternoon......and when they asked him how he was protecting his family right now, he said, "Praying." And LAUGHED.......he LAUGHED. Mocking!
He will be on H&C tonight. And with Connie Chung, so I hear.
I see he doesn't have any problem deciding his seven year old daughter is an atheist.

Yes, I saw that underneath the picture, Howlin. Who
is the Senate's counsel?
And although I didn't hear the man say it himself on Fox, they were talking about it.
I'm sorry, but I still believe that this ruling rocked our nation to it's very foundation and has brought out the best of us...we didn't just "sit and do nothing". We got on the phones, we called and we told that THIS WOULD NOT STAND.
And I for one, think this is a very good day to be an American.

The RATS thought the massacre of 1994 was bad, when the sitting rat speaker of the house Foley and his minions were sent packing.
They haven't seen anything yet.
Democrats are un-American, plain and simple.
They can always be counted on to undermine this great nation, epecially during time of war.
They will pay a price for this day.

If there was ever any doubt how tightly the left has this society wrapped up, the proof is on this thread. Conservatives going off half cocked taking "conservative" stances, not even realizing that by doing so, they are actually conceding to about 101 liberal policies and programs in the process.
Does anyone realize that by demanding that the pledge be returned to the public schools, you "conservatives" are conceding that:
1 Public schools have a right to exist
2. Public schools have a right to make attendance compulsory
3. Agents of the state have a right to "educate" children
4. Agents of the state have the right to userp parental rights.
5. Agents of the state have the right to make parental decisions.
I could go on and on. This is nothing but a distraction.
To: callisto
AMEN. :-)
And now I have to go, because I think that the Good Man above is ticked off, and it is storming here very badly. ;-)

Yeah, why do you think the RATS acted so fast? Because they knew that it would political death. It still might be.
