I guess that judge never read the part in the Declaration of Independence, the "legislative intent" bedrock on which the Constitution rests, where the founders signed that they, with a firm reliance on Providence pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to make the start of this country.

They knew and God knew this country did not have a "prayer" to get past the British into freedom, and liberty and JUSTICE FOR ALL (wish the judge would take note of that) without God.

Am doubting this makes it out of the USSC alive.

The Constitution does NOT ban religion in public places; it bans the Establishment of religion, such as the UK's official recognition of the Anglican Church or the Scandinavian countries requirement that all citizens pay taxes to support the Lutheran Church. There's a damn lot of difference between that and what this idiot "judge" found so offensive today.
