I'm split here CD. I really am. I disagree with the reasoning for the decision, mainly to take the name of God one step further from our government. However, I have always disagreed with the Pledge of Allegiance because of the 'indivisible' and the fact that it was written by a Socialist to further the centralization and belief that the power for the general government was in Washington instead of the state legislatures.
The other issue is that in some instances it has been seen as a replacement for teaching the actual history of this nation, a pledge to a flag instead of the document
NC will love this one and would love any senate canidate to remark otherwise to not liking the ruling.
I agree with that assessment 100%, especially on the "indivisible" and the fact it was written by a Socialist.
How ironic that a liberal activist judge is now trying to deep-six it.
