The issue wasn't about students being forced to say it. It was about teachers leading it.
How does removing the words "under god", restoring the pledge to its pre-1954 wording, tear down this country?
It tears down the real meaning and intent of the First Amendment and that damages the whole country. Even by having teachers lead it, it is still not unconstitutional if you properly understand history, the courts, and the founders.
