Is it just me, or does Katie's perkiness seem a little strained this morning? You know, like the plastered on smile, "We're all fine here, we have nothing to hide. I'm not nervous about the (not yet mentioned) Ann Coulter interview."

I still think Couric & Lauer will be involved in a "more important function" on the show (the married couples or doing a cooking segment) and will thus be too tied up with that to do the interview themselves...Interview by lackey Ann Curry to show the world how unimportant Coulter is, in their not so humble (arrogant) opinions.
