This guy Parsky is a complete disaster. He controls every cent that the Bush Administration could raise for the CRP (what little he's produced) and he's making what looks like a concerted effort to make the Party look like it will do nothing to help Bill Simon.

Then again, I don't quite expect a guy who commutes to work on a Gulfstream jet and regards us conservative activists in the Party as meddlesome, stubborn pests to his "moderation of the Party" plan to understand what he's really doing... Or does he?

No one elected Parsky to have this kind of power, it's the result of the hare-brained "reforms" railroaded through last year at our convention in Los Angeles. And now it's coming back to bite us. Parsky has doubtless been George W. Bush's and Karl Rove's biggest mistake, politically speaking.

California Republican freepers, care to share your thoughts (disgust, I'd presume?) with Mr. Parsky and the CRP Board of Directors?

StoneCold, do you get the ParskyWatch emails I've heard so much about? If you do, I'd love to see them posted to FreeRepublic! or info on how to get on the mailing list (I've searched the web and came up empty handed.)

Last week there was an article that said the White House was looking into an organization called Republicans for Davis that was supected to have been started by top California Republican officials.

Memo to Parsky: Keep your loser RINO hands off the Republican conservative agenda.

Cal Pubbies better sideline this RINO fast. He's orchestrating the party back to its losing days.

Cal Pubbies better be alert: in the Schundler governor's race, RINO Republicans were actually working for the Democrat.

There should be in place severe penalties for organization RINOS who conspire to thwart a candiate.

If the CRP was better at fundraising, this wouldn't be such a problem.

This guy Parsky is a complete disaster. He controls every cent that the Bush Administration could raise for the CRP (what little he's produced) and he's making what looks like a concerted effort to make the Party look like it will do nothing to help Bill Simon.

Parsky is just doing what Bush is telling him to do with the money BUSH raised.

Simon was asked not to run by the Bush people. They were aware what Davis would likely do to insure Simon won the primary and Davis won the general. Simon didn't care. He just wanted to win the primary.

Their is no problem with going against a president and the party to run for office. Lots of people have done it. But rule #1 is such a candidate will have to raise his own money. When the party leadership says don't run and a candidate does, that means the candidate doesn't get any money from the party. Always has... Always will. Because no party will reward someone who goes against party wishes. That falls into the DUHHHHHH !!!! category. You would have to be a very VERY Simple Simon not to understand that simple fact.

Simon KNEW when he stayed in the primary race that if he won the primary he was on his own.

Davis is a very weak Democrat that is still leading Simon by over 10 points. A party will not give money to a candidate that is 10 points down. I posted several weeks ago that if Simon did not stay close he would get zero money from the state and national party.

The foolish people are all surprised. But candidates get no money when they are double digits behind. Is the way it works. That is true in this case. It is always true in every case. Parties are like businesses. They never throw good money after bad, if they can avoid it. At this point investing money in Simon looks like a loser. It is up to Simon to get within striking distance. Both parties figure it this way, a candidate that can't raise money, will not be able to govern.

Simon is doing very poorly at raising money. He is way short. He has a problem because no one that has more than 10 bucks in their pocket believes he can win. No one believes that if Simon were given unlimited money he could win. So Simon is looking to winners to raise money for the loser. Here is a clue...... Winners don't get to be winners by raising money for losers. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN.

A candiate that goes against party wishes is on his own. He can garner party acceptance only if he looks like he can win. It is up to the rebel to get from "sure loser" to the "can win" category.

Looking for your party, other candidates, or other elected officials to do it for you is a giant waste of time.

If Simon wants to know where to go to get money all he has to do is look in the mirror. He will see the only person in the world who will get money for him.

Soon it will be too late to make a real difference.

In effect, the turnout will be marginalized and Simon won't win by a landslide had the pursestrings been loosed Sooner Not Later.

Is it bad form to resurrect a previous discussion? Just found this thread.

I've got to say I wish the sniveling, in-fighting, self-important do-nothing "Captain" wanna-be's would realize they've been on the TITANIC for the last 10 years. Maybe a little bit of humility would help them get our friggin' message out....or at least find someone who can.
