The identity of that orange fiber is driving me crazy - with the amount of it found at DW's - it seems obvious that it comes from something belonging to him - he has to know where it comes from - if it was from some afghan he had draped over a piece of furn. on which Danielle may have sat during the cookie sale visit (or some such scenario) - why not produce the item - does the source for the orange fiber exist any more - prolly not or it may have been found already - but DW has to know where it all came from - but if he does know - it seems to be his secret - cuz I don't think Feldman knows the source either.

Long acrylic fibres - could be from stuffed toys, dog toys, (any plushy item, really), doll hair, fake fur, those "eyelash" knit sweaters that were really popular last year. My daughter got one of those for Christmas. I went in and pulled a couple of strands on it - they came away fairly easily, and each strand was about 1.5 inches long.
How about fibres from a "fake fur" Hallowe'en costume? I'm trying to think in terms of "orange", which is not a popular colour (understatement!).
For the really tacky-minded, how about orange plush seat covers for the car/van?
