Many Jews, especially Reform Jews, have substituted utopian leftism for religious belief as the vehicle for their transcendent religious aspiration. Along with the package goes a wholly unrealistic understanding of human nature and of man's relation to the state. It has become clear that for many of them, advancing utopian socialism is more important than the survival of Israel.

A dear friend of mine who is a conservative Jew said pretty much the same thing. She said she refuses to debate the matter with most of her Jewish friends because they treat being a liberal Democrat as a religion.
But one never knows does one? Perhaps the fact that Clinton was on the same moral plain as Hitler could have influenced a few.
