It's hard to be a tough as one needs to be at times, being as tough as is necessary can seem harsh, mean.

Until the wells of hatred are sealed -- and those wells are the hatred of Jews taught to Palestinians from the day they are born, until the people who dig those wells are thrown down into them, there will no peace, no comfort gained from a Palestinian state or even the suggestion of one.

Bush was not tough enough, this speech invites more murders to see what else may be gained by them, and slacks not one iota of the hatred, and in the minds of the liars and murderers is a pretty reward.

For the sake of ruuning up against Iraq, his major-league eye was drawn off the target and he has thrown Murder Inc. a fat curve over the middle.

I disagree.They know that the US will hit them.No one that wants to survive in the Middle East can go against what the US wants.But can a POTUS say that to a global TV audience? C'mon.Let's be grown up about this.He's not talking to the guys in the bar in your neighbourhood, but to the millions living under tyrants throughout that region and those that want change to hear that a US today will support that desire for freedom.And the first step is the removal of the PLO and a democratic regime to take hold.Good going.
