Too bad you find that to be an appropriate reaction. I simply don't think that FReepdom made any sort of decisive difference.

IMO, Rush Limbaugh garners most of the credit for GOP gains from 1994 onward.

FR is great for organizing the grass-roots activism, and I'm sure that FReepers play their part. But we aren't any sort of "invisible, irresistable force," as some here mistakenly believe.

Well, who do you think started the ball rolling? Who was out there stirring the pot and getting people involved? FREEREPUBLIC, THAT'S WHO!

Do you honestly believe if it wasn't for FREEPERS that Bush might have lost public sentiment? Do you honestly believe the forces that fought for impeachment would've gotten to first base without our determination and demand for honesty in government?

Come on, man. Join the party! How do you think the left got all their clout??
