Can you find the 16 Books of the Bible hidden in the paragraph below? (One minister found 15 books in 20 minutes, but it took him weeks to find the last one.)
I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for the facts
.and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph.

You mean we're not supposed to post the names of the books?
This is going to be a short thread, then. :D
To: Coleus
So far I've only found four!

I think most are translations of some sort. For example, what does "Dueteronomy" mean? Look for that word/phrase in the paragraph. "Lamentations" I think stands for Psalms... Just a clue on how to solve. I don't think I got them all...

I am stuck at nine. Are some of them backwards?
To: hellinahandcart
Ah! Hadn't considered that! Nor anagrams...

Eleven!
Clue: Look for words and turns of phrase that seem contrived.
To: BradyLS
Some may be embedded within the words. I wonder if some are split between two words...?

I am not sure, I doubt it. Some are two words, or parts of them, combined. I will have the answers in my next weeks' bulletin. Remember, it took one minister weeks to find the last one. The eyes plays tricks on you.

Thirteen! Where the x&%$@ are the other three???
To: firebrand
Thanks firebrand, I'm up to twelve thanks to that cup of tea ;-)
To: BradyLS
Lamentations is the actual title of one of the books. It means "expressions of sorrow". A psalm is a worshipful poem.
To: Coleus
It had been a while.
And wanting to get to bed, I cheated.
I pasted it all into Word. Took out all the spaces. Changed all the capitals. And searched to find all the books. Just finished. Much quicker than the first time.

I don't know, I only got nine. Remember the last one was hard which took the minister weeks to find.
