Americans for Democratic Action, "the nation's oldest liberal political organization," unveiled its Liberal Agenda for a Secure Nation at the group's annual national conference in Washington this weekend.

Guest speakers told more than 200 ADA delegates that the Democratic Party can win the 2002 and 2004 elections only by adhering to a platform of "liberal values" that downplays the importance of combating terrorism and developing a missile defense shield.

When you lie and steal from the public, in the end, you do not have a winning agenda. It will catch up with you.

Diane Watson: the Peter Principle personified, projecting her constituency's IQ onto GW.

Notice that they accept the "88 IQ" story as gospel, even after it was shown to be a hoax. Plus, they still believe that Bush was illegally "appointed" by the Supreme Court, a view shared by Bill Klinton, the world's second-smartest person.

These ain't just leftist whackos spouting this BS. It's an official doctrine of the democRAT party, no matter how much they deny it while proclaiming it at the same time.

"Nationalized health care, social security and the environment are issues that still resonate with people after 9/11."

Translation: "We are losing ground on the socialism front and we need to remind people that they need us. In the face of important issues, they seem to have forgotten that."

"Nationalized health care, social security and the environment are issues that still resonate with people after 9/11."

heres my prediction: these items will be implemented by bush, just a little later in the second term, if elected. we will see if i am right, and if so, how many here will defend it.

"Bill Clinton ran for president, promised he would raise taxes and won," Mr. Greenberg said.

Liar.

Candidate Clinton, in a January 1992 campaign ad, said: "I've offered a comprehensive plan to get our economy moving again.... It starts with a tax cut for the middle class." But in his first Oval Office address, on February 15, 1993, the president announced the bad news: "I had hoped to invest in your future... Without asking more of you. And I've worked harder than I've ever worked in my life to meet that goal. But I can't" cut taxes. A Gallup poll the next month showed that 56 percent of voters thought he had misled them on this issue in his campaign.
