The "nuke Mecca" crowd isn't a very thoughtful one if they're being serious.
Doing so wouldn't solve a thing, but it certainly would unite the Islamic world against us in a way the "nuke Mecca" crowd obviously never visualizes.
As an analogy, let's pretend the Protestants of Northern Ireland have finally had their fill of attacks by the IRA. Angered by yet another terrorist act, they manage somehow to nuke the Vatican.
Does that end the IRA? Does Catholicism vanish? Did it do any good at all?

The "nuke Mecca" crowd is just trying to show they represent a "peaceful religion."
Mecca is not a military or industrial target so would be a waste of an expensive nuke.
I have no objections to using them on appropriate targets.
Having said that, Americans/White Euros are being discrimated against in the grand scheme of things. Our world of safety is getting smaller. I have neighbors from Egypt who are spending the summer at their vacation villa in Egypt. When the summer ends they get to come back the USA and enjoy our many gifts (mainly first class schooling).
I couldn't step foot in Egypt and I wouldn't step foot in Jerusalem. The terrorists have won in many ways. We ought to be ripping the shyatt out of the Mubareks of the world to clamp down ruthlessly on the bad guys. The problem is illiteracy tho and I don't know how you fix that. Illiteracy combined with readily available media (CD's, Videos etc.) is a very terrible development for the "good guys" because the bad guys have never been able to get the message to the masses so easily as they do now. All of this was prophesized.
