Indeed. We should've responded with 9/11 with nuclear attack.

However, we are weak. And now they know it.

And, there's a faction of people (mostly norwegians for some reason) that don't want to nuke mecca or medina ever AFTER the USA is decimated.

So there's no deterence whatsoever.
