At my next tragedy I am going to refuse all TV interviews.

That would make you appear guilty, as you wouldn't face the press. :)

As I said "you are damned if you do & damned if you don't". The point I have tried to make on FR many many times is you have NO IDEA how you will act or how you will appear to others, in the face of tragedy. I have had a tragedy in my life & I had people tell me, while I was in deep shock, that they could not understand how I could hold up so well. Then a few weeks later when I could not stop my emotions from showing, I was told to "buck up" & "be tough".
