I honestly think the only way Kirk can win is through fraud and we know that the democrats are not above padding the ballot boxes, especially in Houston and down south.

You are not kidding--I grew up in Laredo and my grandad had been dead for several years yet someone called wanting to talk to him as they were investigating some voting irregularity. My aunt was upset --she said someone was obviously voting fraudulently with my grandads identity.

In a Texas thread there was a gentlemen who made the comment that he had voted for Howard Phillips and after all the things W had done he was glad he had. When I asked him who was Howard Phillips and why was he writing on a conservative republican thread--he answered that he was a very active republican and was and still is a republican precinct chairman but had not voted for Bush for second term of governor and did not vote for him for President. I asked why was he even bothering to be a republican precinct chairman when he could not even support the top of the list. I am still waiting for his reply. But I have to wonder if these republicans by name get to high positions and can jimmy the votes.

And yes, the southwest is good for a few stuffed ballots. I don't know about Houston.
