You'd think he'd have at least waited until the bidding went into the hundreds, if not higher. For some human being to figuratively, if not literally, sell his soul for less than $20 is troubling.
I take no great comfort if this is any indication of what's in store for humankind in the future where there are people willing to risk eternal damnation for a price, let alone an amount less than $20.
