I'm not high and mighty on NC, just making observations. As far as Michigan is concerned I'm doing all I can to help change things by getting involved helping local candidates. As far as the Michigan Senate race, it appears that the Michigan GOP goes for the candidates that have "earned" the run rather than whether they are capable of winning the seat or not. This mentality will more than likely lose us the Governorship too. But I've volunteered to help. That's all I can do.
Of course you seen a number of threads here about how Bush is going exponentially expand the the federal bureaucracy during the reorginization/agency creation.
The reality of that situation is found in this past weeks high profile statements by Michigan's Democratic Senator, Carl Lenin.
He emphatically stated that there would be no reduction in the number of federal employees.
It sounds to me as if he thinks Bush might be trying to get rid of some of them.
I think Rocky may suprise some people.
