"I wil ask you. Who should replace Bush, regardless of party?"
Theodore, when you said that someone would say, "Re-Elect Bush At Least He's Not Clinton!," it didn't take long for Texasforever to echo that very sentiment.
Texasforever, how about Micky Mouse?

And what, pray tell, is wrong with Mickey Mouse? he's been a strong write-in contender for as long as I can remember.

"Re-Elect Bush At Least He's Not Clinton!," it didn't take long for Texasforever to echo that very sentiment. There were 9 GOP candidates in the primaries. They were involved in 12 debates. Bush won the primaries. There were 3 "major conservative" 3rd party candidates in the general election they got less than 5% total votes and NO electoral votes. All I am asking is if we are to throw off Bush then at least have some idea of how to do it beyond giving the entire government to the democrats.

On tonight's "Capital Gang" a guest said that Jesse Ventura proved that anybody can be a governor and it doesn't make any difference. Robert D.S. Novak pointed out that anybody can be in politics, but not anybody can be a "brain surgeon." Well, maybe anybody can be a president too -- bILLclinton proved that, -- and it doesn't affect the average guy, or at least he doesn't think it affects him.
But the Clintoid legacy has been destructive to all American institutions, for it has encourage another decade of "greed and corruptin," two problems that the clintoids rallied against. So by just not being Clinton, Bush can claim success. But the Bush record leaves virtually nothing for conservatives to extol. I keep forgetting all the good things that Bush is said to have done thirty seconds after I hear them.
