Thanks for the post, quidnunc, it sums up my feelings very well and much better than I could have. The remainder of the article is also worth a read, especially by those Republicans who are threatening to vote Democrat because "it doesn't make any difference".

Are there really Republicans threatening to vote democrat because they feel it makes no difference? Even if it truly did make no difference, why desert their own? I hope they revive from their stupor before the next election.

I talk about what bothers me about our Republican leaders, but I know there is a world of difference between the parties and their agenda's and will vote for the Republican Candidate. I prefer to have my on in office pi$$ing me off, than to have that other bunch in office pi$$ing on America.

The ones threatening to vote Democrat are already dems-- real conservatives, real Republicans, know that Bush is the best they're likely to get. I think there are a lot of representatives from the other side on this board.
