Too many here try to place the blame on the president when he is getting directive from the elective officials that 'represent' us in Washington.

C'mon, when the Left says that Bush is an empty suit, controlled by Cheney, Rumsfield, and Powell, everyone here says that is a lot of hooey. Bush is his own man.

But we're supposed to believe that he's getting directive from other politicians on the domestic front?

I don't believe that either.

Who are your congress people, who are your senators. Who creates legislature? Who really controls policy? The president or congress and the judiciary (as the liberals have strived for for years)?

I have a hard time believing things too. But I much rather believe Bush or a republican than a clintonite.
