Maybe, but his wife said in a interview on one of the morning shows that she did not think Roe v. Wade should be overturned!!
Now she is her own woman, but I don't think she would we saying that if her husband did not agree. This was some time ago and maybe some will argue, that it made no difference what she said, she was just trying to get along with the other side. I don't buy that.

If it's the interview I'm thinking of, I believe she said that she didn't think the Supreme Court would overturn the prior decision, not that she thought Roe vs Wade should stand.

You know the abortion issue is a big deal to me (I'm anti-abortion btw) and I've just come to terms with the fact the Roe v. Wade will probably never be overturned and whatever the first Lady and the President think of it really doesn't matter - it really is an issue that can be solved with people face to face - changing their hearts and how they think about it - not changing a law that permits it...
I even recall Bush making a remark about "changing hearts" and I believe that's really where it's at. Talking to people and changing their minds, convincing women that might have an abortion to not walk in the clinic and that there's a better option - Life.
