anytime someone says that AIDS will be cured you know they're full of nonsense.

AIDS is a political disease. It is caused by specific acts of specific people. Our society has chosen to give those people a special status and our educational institutions have chosen to persuade young people that those acts are acceptable if not positive.

Until the "political correctness" game is over AIDS will be with us.

I'm familiar with Duesberg, and don't discount his arguments. Just didn't want to tackle that discussion here.

But if he turns out to be right, how much less likely is it that medicine will cure a disease by trying to fight a highly-mutative retrovirus that doesn't even cause it.
