Said on another thread by another FRPR:
"Bush needs to buy a clue."

For those who have not yet noticed, there is no more money, the government of the United States of America is broke and headed towards busted --- that's b u s t e d, busted.

A country cannot give up its productive capacity by which it earns its way out of the hole, but this country is giving it up.

A government cannot dictate that people should like bad people, but this federal government does so daily.

A government of free people is not a government over them, but this federal government strives to retain its hegemony in our lives, daily. It seeks to tell us who we will like and dislike on the basis of central committees (in such committees, the members are "planners" and "policy makers").

Free people cannot support a government which exeeds this:

To be free, people agree to some government for their common martial defense and the common defense of their livelihood --- a free people ought to tax and spend to do this well.

While now we are supporting a government way beyond these requirements and so far "forward" or "progressive" that the government has become lost in extra-Constitutional space; violating our agreement, our consent.

Who can support such a bad government?

Some now say that criticism of government is "mean" or "over the top."

Really?

Such some of the people also stood by King George III's --- but especially his Parliament's --- bad government. A bad government which set aside the rule of law with respect to the American Colonies, in order to engineer American Colonial society to the notion of subjecting itself to the British government.

Medical breakthroughs will be far-reaching and arrive quickly this decade. Among them: cures for Alzheimer's, depression, Parkinson's, arthritis, much heart disease, AIDS, and several types of cancer, including stubborn forms of leukemia, lung cancer, and melanoma.

This paragraph alone tells you this guy is either smoking crack or did no research at all for this vanity post. The fact of the matter is, EVERY treatment for AIDS has failed to cure it. AZT, ddI, abacavir - The HIV virus has developed resistance to them all. The mutation rate for the AIDS virus is still astonishing CDC researchers. To claim we are within 7 years of a cure for AIDS leaves me with a lot of questions as to this poster's competence.

As for the "optimism" cited in this post, it would be more accurate to call it ignorance.

Interesting speculation and much may well come true, but optimistic messages like this just inflame the anti-Bushies (sceptics too!). Remember, their "hero" was quoted in an interview while he was prez as claiming that "America's best years were behind it". After all, if Bill Clinton said it, then it must be true...after all, he wouldn't lie to us, would he?

It's not all bad. In five or six years, as many as two percent of pilots just might be armed.

Maybe.

(even though it might be a bit too sugar-coated).

Ya think? This guy has been smoking some pretty strong pakalolo to spout off half the stuff he's predicting. Hope is good. But this is not a hopeful post - it is a mere flight of imagination.

Hate, along with its constant companions, FRustration and rage, is the inevitable product of envy -- and is the only one of the 'Seven Deadlies' that has no reward and no instant gratification.

And inevitably leads to frustration, hatred, rage and "liberalism" -- and to "Democratic" potty membership.

It did get your attention though! As a disclaimer perhaps I should put up a notice that..."The opinions expressed in the following post do not necessarily reflect the opinions held by the poster and perhaps he may have sensationalized the headline."

My sister in law has one of those instant gratifiers. She uses it for cheese. Nothing like fresh gratified cheese on your spaghetti. Sure beats gratifying by hand.

Very Good - But may I add his (so-called) "Patriot Act" to your list?

All it does, is make the United States conform with Untied Nations' Resolution 1373
