Hi, I was getting ready to get off the computer for the night and decided to check this site out again. Jan has had Crohn's for about 10 years now. She has a good dr. now plus she can call hers at the Mayo Clinic in MN if she runs into a problem that the ones here can not handle. It's a long story but she had to have major, major surgery back in 97. This was done at the Mayo Clinic after the drs. here told her that her problem was all in her head and that she needed to be on the psychiatric ward!!!! When her surgeon up there came out to talk with my husband and me, he said it was a miracle that she was alive because she had been bleeding internally for years!! She had had to have transfusions for quite some time before that and the drs. here could not find why she needed them. Don't get me started on this situation!!!!! MamaB
