With no rain in site, firefighters at Arizona's Rodeo fire are concerned that the Chediski fire is just eight miles away.
SHOW LOW, Arizona (CNN) -- Winds of 40 mph threatened to push two wildland fires together Friday in east central Arizona.

Looks like the gale force wind gust are subsiding today. Just a little breezy. Some firefighters lost their lives in transit to Arizona from Colorado. When need to ask for protection for all involved in fighting these fires and for residents in the area and for the families who lost these loved ones. Thanks!
