This is pork, Concurrent Receipt isn't.

1. 500 million for Aids in Africa
2. 50% increase in Foriegn Aid
3. 100 million for education in Africe 4. amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and the cost that go with it
5. Gigantic increase in housing loans
6. Continue support for the PLO
7. And on and on

And to further clarify the problem. Retired DAV's put the time and effort in to earn their pensions.

VA Disability payments are for injuries, wounds and sickness suffered while on active duty.

To call it pork is very irresponsible.

Dont you realize that liberals make the same arguements for their pet programs? I agree with your pork list, but I think that anything beyond what Vets were originally promised is PORK too.

I know that the VA does a horrible job of caring for Veterans, ok? I also know that our schools do a horrible job of educating children. I dont believe that more money will fix schools, and I dont believe that more money is going to nessesarily take care of the needs of our veterans.

What is needed is a streamlining of the bureaucracy, not just shoveling money at people ill equipped to do anything productive in the first place. It is criminal, the way that we take care of our Veterans, but it is just as criminal to keep funding systems and programs that just dont work.
