I really don't understand what they are doing. It seems to me that to instill fear into us is to hit the small towns all across the country.

It would be frightening to have suicide bombers, car bombers, etc all over the country.

It kind of sends the message that they are everywhere.

I am not very scared here in the heartland. I was concerned when I started seeing the mailbox bombs, but I live in small town, not the country, so I wasn't too scared. If Al Queda wants to scare the crap out of people like me, they better actually do something to attack small towns. If LV gets bombed on the 4th, I will feel sad, but I won't stop shooting my fireworks off and eating good food. Now, if they strike a small Nebraska town and then strike one in SD, one in Texas, and then one here in Kansas, all within an hour, I will be running for cover.
