"I am a compassionate mother to my children," she told him, "and they are compassionate towards me and take care of me. Because I love my son, I encouraged him to die a martyr's death for the sake of Allah . Jihad is a religious obligation incumbent upon us, and we must carry it out. I sacrificed Muhammad as part of my obligation. This is an easy thing . The happiness in this world is an incomplete happiness;

Would you look at that. This death is only for sake of the worship of herself. She mentions Allah but she is clearly worshiping herself. Then her assertion that happiness in this world is an incomplete happiness is really an incredible slap in the face of whoever seeks to improve the world.

This is pure consumerist evil. Worse than animals. Stomp on these maggot's miserable lives.

I hope you're not suggesting she's checking the mail for her check? Cash, the status of parenting a martyr, the exhortation to have an extra son or two to blow up, all part of the cult.

Freedom, weatlh and peace is what you get after hearding the pals into ever tighter quarters? Why not just place them in the ovens and be done with?

Let me explain - put a pot of water on the stove turn the heat on high and try to hold the lid on without letting any steam escape. Think you can do it? Well the Pals are the water and the Israeli overlords are the lid.

Well the Pals are the water and the Israeli overlords are the lid.

Pals were better treated than Mexicans in the US or arabs in Europe, both of which consider themselves occupied and deserving of worship because of their conditions.

Keep worshiping at people, Palestinians and whoever has a social claim, call them sinless, deserving and whatever. It's too bad intelligent people end up believing the big lies, that anything human made is "worshipable", existence of due process of democracies begone, sin aware jurisdictions be destroyed, this is a new era of puralisitic Nazi like worship of humans and their feelings in general, all reduced to consumerist animals, or even more grotesque, a boiling pressure cooker.

I did not know life had so much meaning as that..

By the way, I cannot do it because I am a sinful person. Though the Palies are doing a good job of doing nature's way of weeding out death worshiping civilizations worshiping more their own death than the cause, G_d will have to do the rest then.

Re: retaliation against families

Clearly the families are aiding and abetting in these suicide murder sprees, so they should suffer consequences. I think bulldozing their home is sufficient, and making sure they never see a dime of Saddam's "bounty" by destroying any property the bounty purchases.

And he did not even read my post, which indicated that this woman is not even interested in the question of her misery, but in being worshiped. Anyone of any social class, rich or poor, will always find himself or herself in misery and feel righteous anger through self-worship. This is part of the consumption process of people-animal, from ravenous appetite of foodstuff to their own images and personal political models, they end up eating their own tail as voratious dragonflies do.

The physics are there indeed. People are animals who consume as they are not fruit bearing trees forbidden from eating their own fruits, and nothing can satisfy people'S appetite, especially those cretive enough to titillate further their hungers and new senses. The subject becomes pure object, giving up altogether on seeking the meaning of subject transcending the object, enabling the soul to find that the solution lays not in satiating appetite in a cycle, but in seeking the solution from more worshipable sources.

My, I would never, after all, it's her feelings and social status that count. (sarcasm)

I just know that the status quo cannot hold. The plan you posted has some merit, but everything must be measured against world reaction.

After their homes are bulldozed, the families should be arrested, put on a helicopter, and dropped off in the middle of the Jordanian desert with a few days water. If they return to the West Bank, shoot them.

I think that it IS appropriate to take the action to those closest to the bomber, rather than to those more distant.

By the way, Do YOU have any useful suggestion?

Israel is already taking those steps, by demolishing the homes of the families of the bombers, and these actions are being described as "war crimes" and "genocide" by the rest of the world...

That's bullsh*t. It's Arabs versus Jews and there are 200,000,000 Muslim Arabs so please stop your lies. The reason Arafat didn't sign a peace agreement is he figures he has the weight of all those Arabs behind him and the Palestinian demographics too where Gaza has the highest birthrate on the planet. So much for your "oppressed" Palestinian heroes. They are just proxies the Arabs use to get at the Jews of Israel and make Jihad against the Jews.

Ah, I see we have one of Free Republic's cadre of intellectual giants here! Well, just in case one or two nuances of the situation have escaped you, sir, I will elaborate.

The Palestinians are not free men. They suffer an untrammeled dictatorship: the will of Yasser Arafat. They have never had an election in which any PLO candidate faced serious opposition. It is to the eternal shame of the Western world that we helped Arafat to his position of dominion over the West Bank with money, guns and moral support. To be freed, the Palestinians must somehow be relieved of Arafat's yoke.

But the Palestinians are bathed in a sea of hatred for the Israelis, carefully nurtured by the PLO and encouraged by outside forces that profit from terrorism, that has brought about a few phenomena of some note:

  1. A strong majority of them advocate the destruction of Israel, and are pleased by harm done to Israel's ally, the United States. The celebrations on the West Bank when news of the Twin Towers attack reached them, militiamen firing their rifles into the air and merchants handing out candy to passers-by, were televised to the whole country.
  2. They send forth terrorists and suicide bombers every couple of days. Since September 2000, terrorists have killed about 500 Israeli civilians. Were the United States to suffer casualties at a proportional rate from terrorism, we would have lost about 45,000 lives to terror strikes these past two years.
  3. Supposedly uninvolved Palestinians shelter these terrorists and their support structures most carefully. Palestinians who try to oppose them, much less see them brought to justice, are killed outright. Remember the slew of street executions of Palestinians for "collaborating with Israel"?
  4. The "government" of the West Bank has released documented terrorists and their masterminds only days after agreeing to arrest them and detain them for trial. That same "government" argued stridently against detention for the "freedom fighters" that defiled the Church of the Nativity.
  5. Palestinian spokesmen continue to evade the moral repugnance of the terrorism campaign. When they -- weakly -- condemn particular terrorist attacks, it's always with "but" qualifiers. Moreover, it has not once been on the grounds of the inhumanity of making war against unarmed, unsuspecting civilians. It's always been "because the Israelis will support Sharon more strongly."

There is only one place where murderers and those who would fund, direct, support, or shelter them belong, at least on this side of the grave: a prison. We put people in prison because, having violated the rights of others, they have forfeited their own. The Israelis have every right to regard the West Bank as a prison camp, to enclose it unbreakably, and to do whatever it takes to bring order to it, including tightening its perimeter at each outbreak of violence until the Palestinians are elbow to elbow, without room even to lie down.

Perhaps, after a few years of being penned up in a stinking, offal-filled camp that doesn't reach the lowest level of human dignity, the Palestinians will run out of ammunition killing one another. Perhaps they will depose Arafat, and yield up the monsters among them for trial by civilized rules. Perhaps they will accept deportation, to scatter them among the two hundred countries of the world so thoroughly that Palestinian irredentism will die for lack of encouragement and reinforcement. And then perhaps, given time enough, Israel will permit a few to return to what was once their home, as visitors, to show their children what was lost when their ancestors forgot the obligations of each man to all men in civil society.

Until that day, let them suffer. They've earned it.

Freedom, Wealth, and Peace,
Francis W. Porretto

I just know that the status quo cannot hold. The plan you posted has some merit, but everything must be measured against world reaction.

You're right, the status quo is a receipe for disaster. World reaction will be negative regardless of the Israels actions.

Look at Jenin. Horrendous publicity, none once the "massacre" was proven to be a fraud. And the IDF left. The terrorists returned. And they mounted more attacks from Jenin.

Civilians died.

At some point soon the IDF will return to Jenin. The IDF was there, they pleased no one by leaving, other than very, very short term.

If the status quo can't hold, and it can't, it's time to get off the merry-go-round and bring under permanent IDF control whatever portion of the West Bank Israel decides is necessary for the long term security of her population.

This stop and start process of action/reaction based on "world opinion" leaves the initiative with the terrorists, and will never lead to peace.

While I can't say it definitively, I fear America may be falling into the same trap. We shouldn't underestimate our enemy based on the superiority of our hardware. It's a lesson we should have learned by now.

I really think the Pali's need to learn more about cheese before they "migrate" to Texas, and where better than France?

"....it's time to get off the merry-go-round and bring under permanent IDF control whatever portion of the West Bank Israel decides is necessary for the long term security of her population."<P?It is not possible for the IDF to "control" Jenin or any other PA towns, as long as they are populated by tens of thousands of insane death cultists. The IDF needs to expell the populations of any regions they wish to actually "control".
