Reynosa Cops Fired
Forty Reynosa Police officers are out of their job today after the Reynosa Mayor ordered a surprise drug test. We're told the results showed many officers were using cocaine and marijuana. There are 200 police officers in Reynosa; one hundred and sixty have been tested so far. Officers who had the day off will be tested when they return to work. Reynosa Mayor is hoping the drug test will help clean up the department to better serve the citizens of Reynosa as well as their neighbors to the North.

Oh man, this is good.
40 out of 200, and they haven't even tested all of them yet.
Well, I guess I know now why the old saying "cops get the best dope" is true.

Damn! This is horrendous. If the bad guys knew the cops were using, do you think they might have used the information to their benefit? How close is this place to the border?
Damn! This is stupifying.

Right town, wrong state.
Wrong country, even.
Reynoso is in Tamaulipas, on t'other side of the Rio Bravo, in old Mexico.

You might want to correct your headline. Reynosa is in Mexico. It's right across the Rio Grande from McAllen, Texas.

Reminds me of when the first pee tests started in the military in the late 70s. Our genious commander figured hey, let's do the air traffic contollers first. When the news hit that over 50% of the tower went positive the commander finally realized what a mistake that was. They had to bring in other controllers TDY to keep the airfield open.
