Is it safe to say that you don't like Jews?

By the way the Berlin Wall was constructed to keep the slaves in not the Allies out. Curiously I've failed to read anything about the Allies crossing into East Berlin and murdering East Germans post-WWII.

"What I don't understand is why the entire world can't see this?"

The world is full of leftists who don't want to see it.

Or are too damn dumb to see it...

Is it safe to say that you don't like Jews?

NO.

Your asking that deserves reporting you to Jim Robinson. Though I doubt he'd bother to do anything about it, anyway.

It's illuminating to see so many of you talking about the utility and value of such death-trapped walls. None of you, I venture, ever actually saw and touched the insane monstrosity surrounding Berlin, as I did a quarter-century ago, or you wouldn't say so.

Such a wall is an admission that a civil society has failed -- on at least one side of the wall. In the case of Israel and the Palestinians, I'd say it's both sides.

And as for the trade and employment that will be cut off -- well, if the Israeli economy collapses from a lack of labor, they'll have only themselves to blame.

Oh, by the way, as to non-Zionist Jews: The implicit claim was that none existed. Such universal claims are disproved by ONE counterexample. I've provided one that you can look up.

That last comment related to another Palestine thread. My mistake. (The non-Zionist Jew mentioned was Murray Rothbard, whose copious writings are indexed and largely available at Mises.org and LewRockwell.com.)

The lame-brains around here who don't know English require my making explicit what should have not needed doing so:

My "NO" in posting 24 meant, "No, it is not safe to say so." In fact, your suggesting that opposition to the Israeli State entails "not liking Jews" is not merely unsafe for the prospects of sane dialogue, it borders on being obscene. I say that from, yes, Jews being among my best friends for 35 years.

How many FReepers who applauded Reagan's proclamation, "Mister Gorbachev, tear down this wall" are now going to insist, "Mister Sharon, put up this wall"?

How many FReepers will see that the former is to was to keep the subjects in while the latter is to keep the enemy out?

The Arabs only negotiate to give them time to reload. Their ultimate goal is the murder or conversion of everyone who is not muslim. As to giving the West Bank, Gaza strip and Golan Heights back solving the terrorism problem, if that was the problem, there wouldn't be a problem since Israel didn't have them when the sneak attack Yom Kippur war was launched in '67. The reason for the negotiations to get these back is that these areas are all perfect places from which to launch a sneak attack. God's protection and Israel's readiness are the only reasons it didn't work the first time.

I think the Israelis could do very well without Palestinians. There are people arpund the world who would gladly take their place without causing the grief the Arabs do. You call Israel a failure without explaining why when undoubtedly it's one the worlds's great success stories. Report away. You have an axe to grind, and I'm only trying to find out what it is.
