WESTERFIELD TRIAL: Week Three - Day Four
San Diego Courtroom Trial
| none
Posted on 06/19/2002 8:45:03 PM PDT by NatureGirl
Here's the new thread, all ready for Thursday.
Testimony recently discussed includes fingerprint evidence, as well as Westerfield's clean laundry. The Van Dam home was (strangely) devoid of fingerprints, except for a couple of latents that didn't match any of the pizza party people or, apparently, David Westerfield.
Westerfield's motorhome didn't contain any of his fingerprints, but did have one print from Danielle L. (the daughter of Westerfield's ex-girlfriend), Jennifer (a friend of Danielle L.), and a partial from Danielle Van Dam.
The prosecution said yesterday that they would be finished "in seven court days".

Please let Kim and Miz back in without conditions. Flat out, they were screwed. Nothing they did was distructive to this forum. If you insist on keeping them out, then you have given in to what we have have fought here for years.
Let them back in or send a donation to the DNC and ban me too.

like I said, when did he clean the crime scene (which was also absent expected prints). still nothing to show he was ever in the VD house, right?

Cyn, I am left-handed, and carried all four of my babies with my left arm. I have better control of all the squiggly wrigglies with that arm, but I suspect this can vary so much as to be meaningless...
I read somewhere, a long time ago, that many mothers will prefer their left arm to hold babies and children as it is easier for the baby to hear the heartbeat this way, and it is instinctive on the mother's part.
Not that I believe everything I read, lol!

Different moderator than the one who just posted the "post away" comment.
We used to get dozens of complaints every day from each of them and from others about them. So saying they did nothing isn't fair or accurate. And we asked several times for them to please stop, but they didn't. So then we said "enough, stay off these threads". One didn't, and was suspended. The other did, and wasn't.
The suspension is over, and the restriction is lifted.
This may surprise some here, but we really don't like taking actions. We don't like suspending people or banning or removing posts. We would rather that people would just be civil.
It isn't fun when you try to do a job and have people literally making the job harder every chance they get, and trying to rally others to make the job harder. (Yes, FresnoDA, I am talking partly about you here).
Is it really that hard to be courteous to each other and to back off when Jim or his moderators say it is time to? I guess I just have a hard time understanding why that is.
There is no question to my eyes and to the eyes of the other moderators (at least the majority of them, I can't say I have asked every one of them) that the flame wars on the forum are getting out of hand.
We have tried asking for civility. We have tried saying "if it continues, there will be penalties". So I will try asking again, and I will ask the people on this thread to help. Please be civil. And if you see your friends being jerks, tell them to knock it off. Thanks.

"every day from each of them and from others about them."Just to avoid confusion, this is saying that in total dozens, not that each would submit dozens. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks. Fair enough. I wouldn't want the job of monitoring all of us.
You deserve courtesy and we owe you the effort of remembering the guidelines when temptation to flame creeps up.
