Here's the new thread, all ready for Thursday.

Testimony recently discussed includes fingerprint evidence, as well as Westerfield's clean laundry. The Van Dam home was (strangely) devoid of fingerprints, except for a couple of latents that didn't match any of the pizza party people or, apparently, David Westerfield.

Westerfield's motorhome didn't contain any of his fingerprints, but did have one print from Danielle L. (the daughter of Westerfield's ex-girlfriend), Jennifer (a friend of Danielle L.), and a partial from Danielle Van Dam.

The prosecution said yesterday that they would be finished "in seven court days".

Why does the MH have to have been in the area recently?..no idea how long those prints or blood has been there.....there are also 18 unidentiable prints from the MH...how do we know they are not a kid from the neighborhood?

Thanks Rheo, I had incorrect information. I did not know about the 16 other impressions, or the other info about what was dusted.

It helps to have a total picture of all that was found. I look forward to reading today's transcript and hope they have them up soon.

I wonder how carefully DW's path has been searched for the missing pajamas and perhaps DW bloody clothes or sheets?

There was a famous screw-up by LE in the Charles Manson murders. The killers had taken off their bloody clothes not far from one of the murder scenes. The clothes were found later by a reporter who simply looked along the most likely route away from the murder site. LE had not bothered to look there.

In the prosecution motion to compel discovery, it states that the defense refused all offers of samples for independent testing.

Well, now, that is interesting.

Sorry I missed a lot of the testimony today. I THINK we're dealing with one Danielle fingerprint in the MH, and blood drop on the MH floor and one on DW's jacket. Everthing else seems to be a no match, or duplication. Who needs hair if you've got blood and fingerprint? OK, so Danielle was in MH once. We don't know when?

What if DW testified that last Christmas he was cleaning his MotorHome and he heard a child scream, looked out and saw Danielle in the street with her new bike, crashed. He rushed over to pick her up and she had lost a baby tooth and was bleeding a little from her lip. He took her over to the MH and washed her face in the bathroom, set her on the bed, got her a bandaide from the MH first aid kit. She calmed down and he helped her walk her bike back home. Yes, he was wearing his jacket that day. Brenda knew about it, she thanked me later. Funny she never mentioned it to LE.

The other problem is that one tooth was never found. Like the earing back and the pajamas, it is missing entirely, never located at Dahesa or elsehere. If the teeth fell out due to decomposition, why wasn't it found in her throat with the other one?

Thank you for all of this information. There are alot of details to keep track of and these are significant, indeed. I have posted my opinion prior to this that I thought her blood came from her mouth.

DW and Feldman both look very confident. They must have an innocent explaination for Danielle having been in that MH.

There are prints of 2 other girls in the RV. This was presumably a girl and her mother who lived in the home. Or at least that has been stated elsewhere by people in SD. Also the VD's had a problem with keeping babysitters. So Danielle L. could have been a baby sitter for the VDs, she was certainly old enough to babysit. So the RV was in the neighborhood from when it was purchased last summer to November, it is not unlikely if the older girls were in it and Danielle knew the other Danielle because she watched them, that she would go inside to see them. Whether they were impressed with a 7 year old or not.

She also got her hair cut last fall.

He also was at the MH storage site Monday afternoon, correct? He was at his house, Monday morning. Talks with police. Goes to his motorhome "looking for his cell phone" when Keith Sherman sees him. Laundry was asked about by prosecution but Keith couldn't recall when he was on the stand.

He said it was possible for the teeth to become loosened due to decomposition. There was a possiblity that critters took them. There was no indication of trauma or broken roots.

I made a point of saying prints of other children from Danielle vD's neighborhood. The prints of the daughter of the ex-girlfriend would not be surprising as she went camping with DW and her mother, did she not? I was referencing the theory that children living near DW used the MH as some sort of playground.

I thought that in the testimony yesterday that Dusek asked one of the witnesses if the defense had tested whatever the evidence was they were talking about and he said yes and read the name of the person off of the evidence tag. Does anyone else remember this? If not, I'll try to find it.

Whose palm print was found on drivers window RV?...are you refering to one of the girls prints or did I miss something??
