Here's the new thread, all ready for Thursday.

Testimony recently discussed includes fingerprint evidence, as well as Westerfield's clean laundry. The Van Dam home was (strangely) devoid of fingerprints, except for a couple of latents that didn't match any of the pizza party people or, apparently, David Westerfield.

Westerfield's motorhome didn't contain any of his fingerprints, but did have one print from Danielle L. (the daughter of Westerfield's ex-girlfriend), Jennifer (a friend of Danielle L.), and a partial from Danielle Van Dam.

The prosecution said yesterday that they would be finished "in seven court days".

Here's something to consider.

Damon wanted to go visit a female neignbor for some quick sex, right after Brenda left to go party with her girlfriends.

SO, Damon calls Diane Halfman (a close close personal friend) up to have her come over and babysit.

When he gets back home later, he finds that Danielle did something that upset Diane and Diane hit her, somehow causing her death (teeth knocked down throat, chokes to death, knocked into something, gives her concussion, knocked over railing from balcony, smothers her with BEAN BAG CHAIR !, or even was molesting Danielle and smothered her to keep her quiet)

So take it from there....

Though I can't hear what's going on in court right now - I suspect that they are going to match up a hair found in the SUV to Danielle L - so there was evidence of some sort in the SUV after all - wonder where the hair was found - if it was smack dab in the middle of the cargo area - that would suggest that DW didn't really give it a good cleaning back there - I bet Danielle L. hasn't been in there in a while.

Yes, Damon's financial records need more scrutiny. The family
was living as if he were an officer of Qualcomm, not a contractor.
Can anyone tell me if Damon has a college degree?

What if no bones were broken, but there were internal injuries?

That's what I was thinking. I knew of a girl who almost died of shock in a car crash (years ago) - no outward signs, but her spleen had been ruptured. IIRC, some (most?) of Danielle's internal organs were gone, because of wild animals. I can't account for the lack of damage on the SUV, except to say that she was tiny, the SUV was huge.

there were several hairs in the SUV - 2 could be Danielle L"s or her mom's - none could be Danielle Van Dam's.

Asian huh? That could explain the short and long black hairs descriptions we've been hearing - wouldn't it be something if the hair in Danielle's armpit was Danielle L.'s - and got there from a transferrence in the RV.

I think I read that he got his degree at a university in FL somewhere.
