Oh, I got a LOT more bedtime stories - and some of them are pretty disturbing. Simply recounting the previous regime's total lapse of concern for the well-being of the Republic is enough to bring you upright and staring into the darkness in a cold sweat. We have so much to recover, from what was lost to us from before. It is as if a hurricane had torn through our lives, and so few people could or would take charge and lead the nation back to some semblance of sanity.

On September 12, 2001, this nation was fortunate indeed to have had Rudy Giuliani where he was at, as mayor of the stricken city of New York. How easy it would have been, to simply allow the city to sink into an orgy of pillage and looting, and allow chaos to reign. But Rudy's example, and iron control of the reins of power, brought the premier city of the entire planet back from the verge, and now it is time to go after the street gang that caused all the destruction. We know their colors, we know their creed, and for the most part, they are readily identifiable, should they be spotted.

This is Ann's contention, that we know who should be hauled in, and we are making a farce of controlling their access to the most vulnerable corners of our nation.
