Seen him live a bunch of times, the last time was a few years ago. His lyrics have always managed to reach down and pull at my inner core and he pulled hard.

I agree with you. I saw him I think 3 years ago. Excellent show. He was sober, engaged the crowd, actually sang really well. The band was super solid and the show was very good. I just stood there and smiled the whole time. You're right. It's like medicine.

That's wierd. I saw him several years ago and he absolutely trashed all his songs and sounded, even for him, absolutely awful. He also looked like he was rode hard and put away wet. I pretty much prefer pre-crash Bob.
