I'm happy to find a 300-plus thread on Dylan here at FR. I'd suggest that skeptics check out the latest recording, Love and Theft, to see how serious is Bob's view of the world. The last line is a pretty good one for everyone: "Look up, look up, Seek your Maker, before Gabriel blows his horn." Also, at least half of his current concerts begin with a Gospel song, usually from the mountain music tradition. Bob's no saint, and wouldn't claim to be one ("I'm just a song and dance man"), but the overall message is a great one. BTW, I wonder how many FR people are also posters at rmd. Mostly lefties there, but not everyone.
