Isn't it interesting that the two girls' sharing a bedroom (and bed) was "a TEMPORARY arrangement while Elizabeth's room was being renovated." And the abductor knew exactly where to find Elizabeth, even in the dark?!

As far as I know, the idea that it was a temporary arrangement is only speculation -- I've never seen it confirmed by police or parents, and seem to recall either police or parents indicating that it was not a temporary arrangement. The house has 7 bedrooms, and was housing 2 parents and 6 children, leading people to assume that the normal arrangement was for each child to have a bedroom, and the information about the renovation of the house led people to speculate further that the sharing arrangement might have been temporary.

If you saw the MLS listing for the house, which someone posted on a thread a few days ago, one "bedroom" was in the basement, one on the first floor, and the rest on the second floor. My guess is that the basement and/or first floor bedrooms had never been used as bedrooms by the family, but were being advertised as bedrooms since the SLC market would have a high demand for houses with many bedrooms.
