The solution to this problem was rather easy. Install larger seats!

I am 6'3" and weigh 240 pounds. I have no problem fitting in a Southwest Airlines seat.

Sorry, but the world does NOT owe the lardass community special favors.

6-3, 240 is not a lardass; I'm not carrying more than five or six extra pounds around. The size model of the human race which airlines are using is simply wrong and that's just one more thing which could lead to the end of air traffic as we've known it. I could easily name a dozen others.

The "lard-ass community" to which you refer is not a mere subset of American society. And soon it will have become anything but a minority, so The Proud, The Thin, The Self-Righteous!! (present company not included, I'm sure) will just have to get used to it, as I have many years and miles ago...
