Actually, as a public carrier, they ARE under an obligation to accomidate everyone. . . .

Your ticket price purchases you the use of a seat. If you require more than one seat you should have to purchase the use of two seats. It's pretty simple really.

Ok, I give up. Who is the moron that convinced you that you were purchasing a seat?

When I fly, I am making a contract between myself and the airline to deliver me to a specified destination. They accept that contract and money is exchanged.

There is nothing special about the major airlines. If I hire someone at my local airport to fly me to a destination in a small aircraft, I expect to safely arrive at that location.

Seats? I did not hire this pilot to give me a seat, I hired him to fly me to the location I requested.

What, did every Freeper on this thread suddenly go brain dead?
