But I'll bet all of those restaurant owners are good ole' drug warriors. They don't see the connection. Once you give the government the power to ban one drug, it will eventually ban or regulate the rest. And worse, it will ultimately require that you take certain drugs for your own good. Many of the public schools are threatening expulsion of various boys unless they are put on Ritalin (instead of given recess), and it won't be long before a variety of drugs will be required if they protect you from potentially taking from the public purse. For instance, an efficacious drug for obesity could easily become mandatory in the current climate of the Nanny State, as could a drug for hypertension, depression, mood swings, cigarette addiction, etc,. What they can keep out of you with the force of their jackboots, they can just as easily force into you.

I can see that you're not very familiar with Haverhill, MA or the Merrimack Valley.

Like what, methamphetamine?

What they can keep out of you with the force of their jackboots, they can just as easily force into you.

If they do as good a job forcing people to take drugs as they are currently doing with stopping them, expect the streets to be knee deep in blood and gore.
